How to Use TO SELECT PROPER PLUG: UK - Push the button on the left side all the way down to where UK is indicated. Push in and slide both side buttons on the top of the unit from front to back. Then, bring down the middle prong from the top of the unit. EUROPE - Push the button on left side to the middle position where Europe is indicated. Push in and slide both side buttons on the top of the unit from front to back. Place thumb and finger in the openings and pull out to bring down plug. CARIBBEAN/SOUTH AMERICA/JAPAN - Push the button on left side all the way up to where AUST/NZ is indicated. Push in and slide both side buttons on the bottom of the unit from front to back. Prongs will be straight up and down. AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND - Push the button on left side all the way up to where USA/AUST/NZ is indicated. Push in and slide both side buttons on the bottom of the unit from front to back. Swivel each prong to the proper angle. NOTE: When using a 2- or 3-prong Australia/New Zealand appliance you may need to apply some force to the plug to insert it all the way. If the unit is plugged in and the indicator light is off the unit is not giving surge protection.
