How to Use Directions Adults and children 2 years of age and over: - clean and dry affected area - apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily - children 2 to 12 years of age : application should be supervised by an adult - do not apply a bandage. Warnings WARNINGSFOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY DO NOT USE - in large quantities or over large area of the body - if you are allergic to any ingredients of this product - under a bandage - over raw surfaces or blistered areas - for teething pain. WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT - use only as directed - avoid contact with eyes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. STOP USE AND ASK A DOCTOR IF - skin reactions occur, such as rash, itching, redness, irritation, pain, swelling and blistering - the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or pale, grey or blue coloured skin as these may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use - condition worsens - symptoms persist for more than 7 days - symptoms clear up and occur again within a few days.
