How to Use Use only as directed by a physician. For effective relief of fever and pain. Particularly useful for relief of pain and fever due to colds, teething pain, and immunizations. Pediatrix is unlikely to cause upset stomach or gastric irritation. Pediatrix may be given alone or mixed with milk, formulas or juices. Dosage: Administer single dose orally, according to age as listed below, every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed more than 5 doses daily. Use only the measuring device (measuring cup) provided. Age Children under 2 years: 2 and 3 years, Single Dose As directed by a physician: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) - 160 mg Age Children under 2 years: 4 and 5 years, Single Dose As directed by a physician: 1 1/2 teaspoonful (7.5 mL) - 240 mg Age Children under 2 years: 6 to 8 years, Single Dose As directed by a physician: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL) - 320 mg Age Children under 2 years: 9 and 10 years, Single Dose As directed by a physician: 2 1/2 teaspoonfuls (12.5 mL) - 400 mg Age Children under 2 years: 11 and 12 years, Single Dose As directed by a physician: 3 teaspoonfuls (15 mL) - 480 mg Refer to package insert for dosage by weight and for additional important information. Additives Alcohol free Warnings WARNINGS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT USE with other drugs containing acetaminophen. DO NOT take more than the recommended dose unless advised by your doctor. Taking more than the maximum daily dose may cause severe or possibly fatal liver damage. Consult a doctor if your symptoms last more than five days, or fever lasts more than 3 days.
