Omega-3 formula builds on the original AREDS formula, replacing beta-carotene with lutein (10mg), zeaxanthin (2 mg) and adding Omega-3 (1000 mg). Bausch + Lomb PreserVision® Omega-3 formula contains the Omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA for the maintenance of good eye health. Omega-3 (DHA) supports healthy cell membranes and is vital for the development and maintenance of the retina. How to Use Recommended Dose (Adult): Four soft gel capsules per day or as recommended by your health care practitioner, 2 in the morning, 2 in the evening, with a full glass of water and with food. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications. Recommended Use: Helps delay progression of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Helps to maintain eyesight in conditions associated with sunlight damage such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
