How to Use Recommended dosage (adults): 2 capsules daily with meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications, or as directed by a physician. Warnings Caution: Not intended for women. For adult use only. Consult a physician prior to use if you are taking sulfonamides or blood thinners, if you are undergoing hormone replacement therapy or are taking any prescription medications, or to exclude a diagnosis of prostate cancer. Consult a physician if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use if you have a history of systemic lupus erythematosus. Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. People sensitive to nicotinic acid may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient.
