Uses: - Helps to prevent iron deficiency anaemia and iron deficiency. - Helps to form red blood cells and helps in their proper function. - A factor in the maintenance of good health. How to Use Dosage (Adult) and directions of use: One tablet a day with food. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Warnings DO NOT USE IF SEAL IS BROKEN OR MISSING. CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. There is enough iron in this package to seriously harm a child. Do not use except under the care of a physician. Do not use for prolonged time unless instructed by physician. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have peptic ulcer, regional enteritis and ulcerative colitis. KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience symptoms of iron toxicity such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hematemesis (vomiting of blood), and diarrhea. Some people may experience constipation, diarrhea, and/or vomiting. Hypersensitivity has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
