Description:
How to Use Dosage: pregnant women: take 200 ml (50 g of glucose) for initial screening. Take 300 ml (75 g of glucose) once daily for follow-up screening. Adults (except pregnant women) : take 300 ml (75 g of glucose) once daily. Children (2 years and older) : take 7 ml (1.75 g of glucose) per kilogram body weight, up to a maximum of 300 ml (75 g of glucose) once daily. Additional dosage information: to be used only under the direct supervision of a healthcare practitioner as part of an oral glucose tolerance test. Warnings CONTRAINDICATION: Do not use in patients with the glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome. CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: Glucose should be administered with care to patients with diabetes insipidus. Concentrated glucose solutions given by mouth may cause nausea and vomiting. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal is broken.
