Pain reliever/fever reducer Relieves headaches, fever, muscle and joint pain For fast and effective relief of headaches, toothache and menstrual pain, and for minor aches and pain associated with arthritis, muscles, joints and backache, and for reduction of fever. How to Use Directions: adults and children over 12 years: take 1 caplet every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Do not exceed 3 caplets in 24 hours, unless directed by a physician. Do not use longer than 3 days for a fever or 5 days for pain relief. Read insert for important information before use. Warnings DO NOT USE IF UNDER CAP SEAL IS BROKEN. CHILD RESISTANT CAP. CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. THIS PACKAGE CONTAINS ENOUGH DRUG TO SERIOUSLY HARM A CHILD. WARNING: DO NOT take Ibuprofen Extra Strength Caplets if taking daily low dose acetylsalicylic acid (ASA, 81 - 325 mg), without talking to a doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT USE with ASA, other ibuprofen or pain relief drugs, or if allergic to ibuprofen, ASA, salicylates or anti-inflammatory drugs, or any of the non-medicinal ingredients in Ibuprofen Extra Strength Caplets. Consult a physician if your fever lasts more than 3 days or your pain persists for more than 5 days. Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised by a physician. In case of overdose, call a physician or Poison Control Centre at once, even if there are no symptoms.
