How to Use Recommended Dose: Adult Dosage: Take this medicine immediately after meals or with food to lessen possibe stomach upset or laxative action. Swallow with water; do not chew, suck or crush tablets. Prevention of potassium depletion: Take 1 Tablet 3 times per day with a full glass of water. Treatment of potassium depletion: Take 2 Tablets 3 times per day with a full glass of water. Warnings CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: A probable association exists between the use of coated tablets containing potassium salts, with or without thiazide diuretics, and the incidence of serious small bowel ulceration.
