How to Use Trim to fit If your shoes' insoles are removable, take them out first. INSTRUCTIONS 1) To test for size, place the Dr. Scholl's® insoles against the back of your removable insoles, lining up the heels of both. If needed, trim the new insole to your shoe size, using the guide at the bottom of the Dr. Scholl's® insoles. If your shoes' insoles can't be removed, trim Dr. Scholl's® insoles to your shoe size. 2) Slide the insoles into your shoes, toe area first, with the fabric side UP. Make sure the insole lays flat against the bottom of your shoe, especially in the toe area, and that the insole heel rests firmly in the heel of your shoe. If the insole doesn't fit without bunching, continue to trim as needed.
