How to Use Metric screws have flat heads. Standard Screws have dome heads. Most frames require 1.4 or 1.6 mm standard hinge screws. For imported frames; use 1.4 or 1.6 mm metric screws. Instructions: 1. Select the screw diameter that appears to be the correct size of the frame. 2. Make sure the leaves of the hinges are properly aligned. 3. Insert screw into the required hole and tighten with screwdriver. Do not over tighten or force. If screw does not fit easily, try a different screw.
