Description:
Helps prevent dehydration Use Pedialyte® rather than juices, soft drinks, sports drinks or water to prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea or vomiting. Recommended use: oral rehydration solution to help prevent dehydration and restore fluids and electrolytes caused by (acute/watery) diarrhea and/or vomiting (due to acute gastroenteritis). How to Use Mix with water Directions: Reconstitute with water only Dissolve entire contents of 4 sticks in 1 L, 2 sticks in 500 ml, or 1 stick in 250 ml of drinking water (to achieve appropriate concentration of medicinal ingredients). If drinking water is not available, use boiled or bottled water to prepare the solution. Do not boil the solution after it is prepared. Tastes best served cold. For oral administration only. Pedialyte® should never be ingested in its powder form. Warnings Consult a physician if vomiting, fever, or diarrhea continues beyond 24 hours or if consumption needs are greater than 2 litres per day.
