Recommended use: Licorice is traditionally used in herbal medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrhs, coughs, and bronchitis. Justicia adhatoda (malabar-nut) is traditionally used in ayurvedic medicine as an expectorant for cough. How to Use Recommended dosage: Children (6-9 years): Take 1/2 teaspoon 3-4 times daily Children & adolescents (10-14 years): Take 1 teaspoon 3-4 times daily Adolescents (15-18 years): Take 2 teaspoons 3-4 times daily Shake well before use Additives Alcohol free Warnings CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Do not use if the child is taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or other medications, which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Do not use if children have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: If symptoms are severe or persist for more than 2 days, consult a Health Care Practitioner. If cough worsens, persists for more than 7 days, or is accompanied by high fever, consult a Health Care Practitioner.
