A single dose, to cure most vaginal yeast infections Uses - Relieves symptoms of vaginal yeast infection: vaginal itching, burning, discharge How to Use Directions - Adults and children 12 years and older: take one capsule by mouth, do not take more than directed, swallow one capsule as a one-time only dose. Warnings WARNINGS DO NOT USE - if you are pregnant - think you are pregnant - trying to become pregnant - breastfeeding - are allergic to fluconazole (related azoles e.g. clotrimazole/miconazole) or other ingredients in this product - are taking cisapride*, quinidine, erythromycin, pimozide or amiodarone or allergy drugs such as astemizole*, terfenadine* (*not marketed in Canada) - There have been reports of spontaneous abortion of the fetus or birth defects. If you could become pregnant while taking this medicine, you should consider using a reliable means of contraception for approximately 1 week after the dose. If you become pregnant while taking this medicine, contact your doctor ASK A DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST BEFORE USE IF YOU - have heart disease - are at increased risk for sexually transmitted diseases, have multiple partners or change partners often - have not been previously diagnosed by a doctor for the symptoms of a yeast infection, which include itching and burning of the vagina and sometimes white discharge - are taking any medicine - have yeast infection often. - have abdominal, back or shoulder pain, fever, nausea or vomiting, or foul-smelling discharge before or during use of this product. These could be signs of a serious condition WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT - you may experience: headache, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea STOP USE AND ASK A DOCTOR IF - there is no improvement in 3 days or if symptoms have not disappeared within 7 days - symptoms return within 2 months - have abdominal pain, fever, or foul-smelling discharge - rash or irritation occurs KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away. - This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child. - Do not give to children under 12 unless directed by a doctor.
