Anbesol Topical Anesthetic Gel Extra Strength 7 g

For pain relief of cold sores, canker sores, toothaches, denture irritation, sun and fever blisters and brace pain. How to Use Directions: Adults and children over 2 years: To open tube, cut tip with scissors. Apply Anbesol® Extra Strength Gel directly to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily, as needed. For children under 2 years, consult a physician. For denture irritation: Apply to affected area and do not reinsert dental work until irritation/pain is relieved. Rinse mouth before reinserting. Warnings CAUTION: For topical use only; do not ingest. Use smallest amount possible to achieve desired result. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a physician immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Use with caution in children. If condition persists for more than 7 days, discontinue use and consult a physician or dentist. Avoid contact with eyes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use this product if you are allergic to benzocaine or any other ingredient in the product. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or pale, gray or blue coloured skin as these may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use.
