Fast-acting, non-drowsy Advil Cold & Sinus Caplets help shrink swollen nasal passages to open up your airways and relieve congestion, making it easier to breathe. Advil Cold & Sinus provides effective temporary relief of the symptoms associated with colds, including nasal congestion, sore throat pain, sinus pain, headache, fever, and body aches and pains. Combining the pain-relieving strength of Advil with a nasal decongestant, each Advil Cold & Sinus caplet contains 200 mg of ibuprofen and 30 mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Advil has provided effective fever and pain relief for over 35 years. How to Use Directions Adults and children 12 to 65 years: take 1 or 2 caplets every 4-6 hours as needed - do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor. Warnings Caplets individually blister sealed. Do not use if seal is broken. Child resistant package is available on Advil Cold & Sinus 40s size. WARNINGS STOMACH BLEEDING WARNING: May cause stomach bleeding. Symptoms may include, feeling faint, vomiting blood, bloody or black stools. Chance of stomach bleeding higher if: age 60 or over, had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems, take a blood thinner or steroid, take with drugs containing NSAIDs like acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), ibuprofen, naproxen, or prescription NSAIDs, have 3 or more alcoholic drinks per day while using this product. ALLERGY ALERT: Ibuprofen may cause severe allergic reaction, especially in people allergic to ASA. Stop use and get medical help right away if you have, severe itching, hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, skin blisters, difficulty breathing. DO NOT USE - if allergic to ibuprofen, ASA, salicylates, NSAIDs or any other ingredient in product - if you are dehydrated due to vomiting, diarrhea, or lack of fluid intake - right before or after heart surgery - if in your third trimester of pregnancy - in children under 12 years - with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinson's) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI - with other cough and cold drugs. ASK A DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST BEFORE USE IF YOU - have, asthma and alcoholism, stomach ulcers or bleeding, high blood pressure, heart, liver, kidney or thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, difficulty or pain when urinating - take any other drugs especially daily low-dose ASA (81 to 325 mg) - taking medication for weight control - have any other serious medical condition - are trying to conceive, in your first or second trimester of pregnancy, or if breastfeeding. WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT - take with food or milk if upset stomach occurs - risk of heart attack or stroke may increase if used more or longer than directed. STOP USE AND ASK A DOCTOR IF - sore throat pain lasts more than 2 days - you have difficulty or pain when urinating - you show signs of stomach bleeding - symptoms worsen or last more than 5 days - fever lasts more than 3 days - you are nervous, dizzy or can't sleep - any new symptoms appear. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
